You would have been proud of the boys today during practice (I told them I would email you)
Wyatt hit the ball all the way to the fence!
Cash remembered "high and tight, up and away, chest to the side, look at the pitcher"
They did good today, and Momma was happy! :)

Hello Turk. You once told me your measure of success was for all your girls to make their high school team. Natalie was just named a starter for lampasas varsity softball as a freshman. I just wanted to let you know and say thank you. Job well done.
Coach, we are so happy. Sarah went 1-2 today with a triple and ground out but both were well hit. They won the game plus we gunned down a runner with a one hopper as the runner was trying to steal second. Everyone notices a huge improvement with Sarah and we tell them you are the reason. We appreciate the work and we tell them we work with Turk Jones at Learn 2 hit. We need to work on blocking more but it seemed today that she played and looked like the player in your cage.
Thanks again,
Thanks again,
Coach, I wanted you to know that you have a great reputation in the softball community. Every player that comes through your organization is technically sound in their mechanics. Great job.
Hello Turk! We haven't been able to come see you due to our practice schedule. But I'll keep trying. I wanted to let you know (I'm a proud dad!) that Luke hit 2 inside-the-park home runs this past weekend. He also had a couple doubles and a triple. Both homers went right where you taught him to hit it...right-center...and all the way to the fence!
Hey Coach Turk, It's Katy R. I just wanted to thank you for the years of coaching and preparing me for high school. I'm starting on varsity (as a freshman) and just wanted to let you know how things were going.
Just wanted you to know, while Morgan was in your cage last night, the Liberty Hill 8U coaches were selecting their all star team and Morgan was a unanimous D1 selection. His season stats through 16 games (13-3) are 53 of 61 at the plate for a .868 batting average, 20 HR, 67 RBI's and scored 50 runs. He's turned 79 outs playing SS, 1B and 2B. His offensive numbers are a direct reflection on your teaching .......... thanks coach.
Just wanted to let you know that Jack hit a grand-slam today. It was a solid hit to the middle of the outfield that rolled to the fence. 175 feet total. By the time the players got the ball to the infield, Jack was already rounding third. We won and are the 6U NL Spring Champions. I have to thank you. Without your coaching and instruction that wouldn't have happened.
Hi Coach Turk!! I just wanted to personally thank you for all the work you have put in to helping me reach my goals!! You were always there to tell me to get the form down when you have the form, that's all you need. Form is everything, I repeat this to myself constantly when warming up, batting, throwing, and even catching. It helps me a lot and makes me think about the steps on how to do it correctly. Thank you for putting in hours of work and your time to help me become who I am today!! Our first practice was today and I felt like it went very, very good!! I'm looking toward to the upcoming season and I'm feeling very confident about it!! I'm hoping that you are able to make it to one of my games this season if possible. I want you to see the player you have made and see how all of your hard work and time has paid off. Thank you for everything you have taught me, but especially catcher. I always wanted to be a very good catcher when I grew up and you were the perfect coach to help me become who I am today. I would not be the player I am today without your knowledge and help!! So I can't thank you enough for all that you have done! Thanks, Grackle Hop
I made the high school team for Florence. Thank you for coaching me and teaching me how to do the right things. I showed him my hitting and he liked it but then it came to bunting and I used everything you showed me to do and he said I would most likely be 2nd hole hitter because I was great at it. Thank you for helping me succeed in softball, everything you've taught me has helped me. Everything you've done or helped me with has meant a lot and I want to thank you for helping me come this far in my softball career.
Brady played Saturday in a tournament. At his first at bat, it started to rain pretty good. Brady later told me that when it started to rain, all he could think about was how hard it would be for the pitcher to throw strikes in this condition! Straight Turk teaching right there! He ended up walking, stealing second, and scoring the only run of the game on a single. Perfectly executed! Smart baseball. :-)
Her bat came alive this weekend so she's ready to keep working !
