Firearms training
Next Level Training is starting up a firearm training. I have developed a training system to supplement your current training and also step it up a notch. I am a state police officer, Simunition role player and instructor, TCOLE instructor, and a firearm instructor. THIS WILL NOT BE A TEXAS HANDGUN LICENSE CLASS. You will not need to have your handgun license. This class will be for 18 years old and up, with or without a handgun license. The classes will be held in Georgetown.
BASIC CLASS
The basic class will be a mixture of classroom and hands on. The first part is learning the laws around use of force, use of deadly force, when and where you can defend yourself or others, and what type of ammunition to use and when. The student will then learn how to load, unload their weapon, speed reload, tactical reload, clear phase one stoppage (jam) and clear phase two stoppage (severe jam). The student will then go to a trigger control system and work on smooth, steady trigger control, grip. This will help you improve your accuracy when shooting. The goal of the Basic Class is to be very familiar with YOUR handgun and the laws of Force and Deadly Force. The Basic Class is 3+ hours long and $50. Maximum of 6 students.
INTERMEDIATE CLASS
The intermediate class the student will learn different stances, use of cover/concealment, the use of flashlights. The student will review how to speed reload, tactical reload, clear phase one stoppage (jam) and clear phase two stoppage (severe jam), complete weapons check and scan. The student will use a trigger control device to work on smooth, steady trigger control and grip. The final hands on stage the student will go through a laser gun course, first working on accurate fire then a designated course of fire. There will be no live round shooting in these classes. The goal of Intermediate Class is to learn and perform more tactical maneuvers. The Intermediate Class will be 3+ hours long and $50 per person and limited to 6 students.
FORCE ON FORCE (Simunitions I)
I will begin with trigger control exercises and laser training to get warmed up. Then the student will be put to the test with several force on force live fire simunition scenarios. (we will provide all weapons and safety equipment except personal protection, i.e. athletic cup). Force on Force I will be 3-4 hours long and $75 per person. Force on Force I will be limited to 2-3 students and will be mandatory to move on to Force on Force II.
Force on Force II will only be live fire scenarios with simunitions but more enhanced scenarios. Force on Force II will be 4 hours long and $75 per person. Force on Force II will be limited to 2-3 students.
